Bahookie (n)– derriere

Bampot (n)-  stupid person

Banjo (v) – to hit or strike someone

Beelin (adj)– angry

Bevvy (n) – alcoholic beverage

Birl (v) – to spin

Bizzum – annoying person (usually female)

Blootered (adj) – drunk, inebriated

Boak (v) – to vomit 

Broo (n) – welfare (as in being unemployed)

Clatty (adj) – dirty

Cludjie (n)– bathroom

Crabbit (adj) – ill tempered, grumpy

Eejit (n)– idiot

Fankle (n/adj) – in a mess, confused

The Filth (n) – The Police 

Footer - mess around, waste time

Gallus (adj) – tough, cocky, over-confident

Greetin’(adj) – crying, sobbing

Greetin’-faced (adj) – someone who complains and moans a lot

Hackitt  (adj)– ugly (usually referring to females)

His face is tripping him – he’s grumpy, not happy

I don’t have a scoobie – i have no idea, I don’t know

In the scud – naked

The Jiggin’ (n) – Nightclub, dance hall

Loupin (adj) – throbbing (with pain)

Mince (adj/noun) – rubbish,nonsense

Mocket (Adj) – dirty

Ned (n) – thug, rough person

Numpty (n) -- idiot

Oose (n) – dust

Papped oot – disposed of

Pieces (n) – sandwiches

Randan (n) – drinking binge

Rammy(n) – fight

Scants (n) – underpants

Skelp (v) – to hit, strike

Stoatir (n) – beautiful girl

Stramash (n) –  argument or fight

Stooshie (n) -  argument or fight

Tick (n) – credit/to buy something on tick means to pay later

Tim (n) – Catholic person (not necessarily an insult)

Tumshie (n) – an idiot

Wallies (n) – dentures

Winch (v) – to kiss

Winching (adj) – to be in a steady relationship
